Shooting HDR Pictures with Old Cameras (Part 1)

Ok, I realize that the definition of 'old' here might rankle a few feathers, as the Sony DSC-F707 was released in 2001... only twelve years ago (which is actually, is quite old when you're talking about digital cameras... I digress...), but I decided to shoot HDR pictures of the same subject through a variety of digital cameras that I own and to compare the results. The first camera shots that I'll feature here are those that were made with the Sony DSC-F707. Note: The F707 (as reviewed here) is a 5 megapixel camera that saves in JPEG format; it does not shoot RAW, so we're already working with some limitations. I set the autobracketing to fire, and it gave me some really weird exposures:
