One of the more interesting shadow-selfies that I took was this picture on the Cut River Bridge on US 2 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The bridge stands 150 feet above the river below, and standing there with my tripod as cars and semi-trucks drove by at (what felt like) 60+ miles an hour, I could feel the bridge shake under my feet. (I got to the point where I would simply kneel down when I saw a vehicle coming.)
