Making Interesting Photos in Boring, Small Town America (Part 3)

If you find yourself living in boring, small town America, looking around, wondering what you might photograph, here's another option that can be found just about everywhere: Trees!

Trees make great subjects, coming in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. One of the more obvious times of the year to photograph trees is in the fall, when the leaves are changing colors.

You can also take some provocative images after the leaves have passed their peak. Even the tree below, with its drab looking, post-autumn colored leaves, makes an interesting subject in contrast to the tie-dyed, cloudy blue sky.
