Female birds are usually not so colorful, especially when compared with the male of the species. Through the HDR process, however, I managed to bring out the color in this female goldfinch... and in the background foliage... and in the rusty pole. The color is so overdone, that the normally light green feeder takes on an almost dark purple hue.
