I know it's the wrong time of year to be posting these kind of pictures, but I've been thinking of spring lately. (I know, I'll have a while to wait before spring really arrives.) I like the color in my HDR image (top), but I especially like the 3D effect in the bottom image. I layered together the top two images, but since I didn't like the way that the dark splotches stood out in the background, I went through and erased them. The effect makes the background seem further back, and the outlined flowers and branches in the foreground really seem to stand out.
