Oriole Just Before Take Off (Graphic Novel filter)

This was my somewhat original image (cropped). I was a little far away, and my focus isn't really great.

The Graphic Novel filter helps to sharpen some things up (and 'clean look' other things out).

And here's what happened when I layered the two images above together.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my pictures! :)

Duck in a Tree (Graphic Novel filter)

I really had trouble with this duck image (and several just like it), where I had a duck visiting my yard, but the angle from me to the bird's position in the tree had the light shining right behind it, which is typically no good for pictures. I had toned the exposure on this particular image drastically down, so that it was quite dark. But, here things seemed to have worked out ok. Thanks for stopping by and for looking at my pictures! :)

Coy Little Bluebird (Graphic Novel filter)

I processed an earlier edit from Photomatix with Photoshop Elements for the Graphic Novel filter. Thanks for stopping by and looking at my pictures! :)

Robin in the Green Tree Leaves (Graphic Novel filter) (Redo)

Here's another second attempt at an image that I processed earlier. This time I ran the robin through the AuroraHDR program, made a Graphic Novel filter version in Photoshop Elements, merged the color into the black and white, and voila! Thanks for stopping by and looking at my pictures! :)

Cat Looking Over Its Shoulder (Graphic Novel filter)

So, here are four different versions of the same picture. The first is an image that I cropped without processing on AuroraHDR.

The second was processed for HDR, using one of the presets.

Taking the image immediately above, I processed it with Photoshop Elements' Graphic Novel filter.

I then layered the first image into the third, used all sorts of preset edits for color, contrast, etc., and came up with the following.

Sparrow in the Grass (Graphic Novel filter)

This image is one that I had processed before. This time, I tried it with AuroraHDR. I took my Aurora image over to Photoshop Elements and processed several different exposures of the Graphic Novel edit. I took these exposures back to the AuroraHDR program and... HDRed them together (image 2 below). Back in Photoshop Elements, I layered the top image into the second image for a colorized version (image 3 below.) Thanks for stopping by and looking at my pictures! :)

Thrush in a Tree (Graphic Novel filter)

Here is the thrush in a tree. It's a little bit dark, you see.

I brightened it up.

And... (colored it, too...)

Um...

So much for rhyming.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my pictures! :)
