I think it's a Raven. Maybe a Crow? (Graphic Novel filter)

The first step in being able to identify whether that black bird is a raven or a crow is to pick some sort of identifiable features out of that black blob of bird in your photo. 

Here is the Graphic Novel version of the above image. The bird's features are a little more clearly defined in this photo. From the smooth rounded shape of the head, I'm leaning toward thinking this is a crow?
