The English Farrier, 1821. Théodore Géricault (Graphic Novel filter)

This is an image from the Cleveland Museum of Art, which I edited with Photoshop Elements' Graphic Novel filter. 

This particular image is a lithograph from "Various Subjects Drawn from Life and on Stone" by Théodore Géricault, entitled "The English Farrier". I was interested to see the cropped tails in the image, as I have heard that there has been some controversy over the practice.
