Mossy Tree (Red, or Less Red?)

This is another late fall scene after the leaves have long fallen away and the landscape is mostly brown and gray. What I find interesting in this particular image is the red-shade that you find throughout the image, due to the red stick-like plants that are growing throughout the image. 


The image struck me as one that I would like to see processed with the Dry Brush filter. This image is below.


Finally, in the course of processing my edits, I didn't really realize how 'red' the original image was... until I used Photoshop's color correction filter, at which my reaction was: Wow! That really took a lot of the red out of the image! (Image below.)
