I'm pretty sure that this was some kind of woodpecker, although I am hard-pressed to say whether it was a downy woodpecker or a hairy woodpecker. With the slight warm-up in temperatures that we've been experiencing recently, the birds have come out, and this woodpecker was one of the ones that I was actually able to photograph.
