The tough part of working on this photo were the highlights on the goldfinch that are blown out. There was one setting that looked great in magnification on Photomatix, which pretty well knocked out the highlights, but when processed for real, the highlights were there. Messing around, I came up with this version where I toned down the color so much that only the bright yellow really remained in the image. That's my photo for today. Thanks for stopping by!
