The clear message of this image is that two is company (the two Pine Siskins that were already at the feeder,) and that three is a crowd (the nuthatch that confidently landed and took its place on the left of the image.) The one Siskin, with its open beak, seems to be 'telling' the nuthatch what it thinks, or rather, was just caught with its beak open.
