Chipping Sparrow (Graphic Pen Filter)

This is a recrop of an image that I've posted previously. I also processed the sparrow this time using the layered graphic pen filtering process (second image) and layered the color into the graphic pen for the third image below. Thanks for stopping by!

Little Bird (Graphic Pen Filter)

Here's a little bird in the grass. It's a little picture, too, because I cropped it in Paintshop. It also wasn't really all that great because of some weird image noise - particularly in the grass - that you don't see too much when a photo is processed through a filter. Thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly - Stamp vs. Graphic Pen Filter

One thing I've noticed in the stamp filter vs. graphic pen filter is that the graphic pen tends to pic up a few more of the finer details that simply get "stamped" in the stamp filter. Thanks for stopping by!

Graphic Pen Filtered Petunias

I found it a little bit surprising that the higher numbers (9, 12, 15) on the graphic pen filter, which are usually darker images, actually came out lighter, particularly in the area of the flower that is in the upper middle portion of the image. I'm not sure exactly why that is; there is some brightness that seems to have burned the image white, visible in the color version below. (I used a tonemapped version to make the graphic pen, but I layered the original image without HDR back in over the graphic pen version.) That's my image for today. Thanks for stopping by!
