Blue Jay in Flight (Redo, Graphic Novel filter)

In my ongoing quest to fix up bad pictures, today's effort was a redo on a blue jay in flight image from a few years ago. This time, I tried to take a blurry image and beef it up with a Graphic Novel filter. 

Here is the old edit, using some sort of smudge/paint filter.
