I ran this striped gopher image through AuroraHDR, and then I processed the image on Photoshop Elements with the Graphic Novel filter. In the bw image, the top looks like the wavy pattern of fire, while the grass around the gopher looks like... grass. In the colorized image, the whole thing is grass.
