George Washington's (Original) Grave (Graphic Novel filter)

I visited George Washington's grave at Mount Vernon within the past couple years, and I don't remember it looking like the hobbit hole that you see pictured below. According to the Mount Vernon website, Washington was buried but left instructions for a new tomb to be built. This was the original. It is from a watercolor by Pavel Petrovich Svinin at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Thanks for stopping by and looking at my pictures! :)

Here is my Graphic Novel edit, in which the mountain in the background came out awfully light.

When I layered the original image back into my Graphic Novel edit, it helped a little with the background mountain.
